In Memory of Jackie Peterson
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Honoring Jackie Peterson
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Jackie Peterson, who leaves behind her loving husband Gary and family.
Jackie had a beautiful and caring heart, especially for horses. This special page was created to honor her love of rescued animals, and her tireless support of this work, in particular at Rosemary Farm Sanctuary. Jackie was a long time friend to Rosemary Farm, a regular supporter, following the stories of their horses, sending encouragement, and visiting several times.
In lieu of flowers, Jackie's family is requesting donations be sent to this magical place, where a portion of her ashes will be placed.
Rosemary Farm is humbled by her generosity and the kindness of her family in their time of loss.

About Rosemary Farm
At Rosemary Farm Sanctuary, our mission is to rescue horses in need, and protect them for life. We save equines from slaughter, neglect, and abuse. Most have been passed from owner to owner, never knowing a herd or consistency. When they arrive here, they are home. We make care decisions based on what is best for each horse and the sanctuary family. Our horses live in dynamic natural environments, in herd groups, creating vital bonds that are honored and protected. In addition, we educate horse owners and the general public about the wretched conditions many horses suffer, and how they can improve both the physical and emotional guardianship of horses.Rosemary Farm is 'Where horses get to be horses'.
